As a serial entrepreneur leveraging over a decade of experience as a consultant to dozens of enterprise-level corporations and tech companies, Braven continues to lead and launch successful organizations. At AMP LA, he has a passion for affording young people the opportunities they need, while equipping them with tools to overcome their largest hurdles. His vision is to establish the first Creative Youth Development program with a group mentorship component that will prove effective in churning out future game changers in helping our city’s neighborhoods thrive. 


Throughout his career, Braven has had the privilege of working with brands like FOX Studios, Sony Pictures, Discovery Channel, TLC, Toyota, Lincoln Motor Company, Omnicom, Intuit, Yahoo!, and WME | IMG. Braven currently lives in El Sereno with his wife Anne and their three children Luka, Zara and Asha. Former graphic designer and Creative Director, 

Braven loves the arts: from Caravaggio to Daniel Ramos “Chaka” to, Bach, Banksy and Basquiat. He is truly a lover of the arts and wants to impart this passion to the youth of LA. 

Josh Buck


Josh loves Highland Park. He also loves kids. Before becoming a pastor he was a behavioral therapist for 6 years working with children with Autism ranging from ages 4-18. He also lived in East Africa teaching at a Bible Institute. Since returning to the states he and his wife started Antioch City Church in Northeast Los Angeles. He currently serves at President of the Highland Park Advisory Board, coaches Baseball at the Rec Center, and is the faith based voice within the community. Josh will be in charge of community fundraising and business partnership. He will also serve the program as an operations advisor, helping to oversee and guide the forward progress of AMP. He is husband to Sarswatie Buck and father to two little girls; Aahana (3) & Anaia (2).

Cameron mooney

Recently moving to Los Angeles with his wife, Cameron has a degree in Music Therapy and over 9 years experience working with youth in and out of the special needs community. He is highly adaptable, a calming force in the room, and works exceptionally well with kids--especially those on the fringes. After directing the AMP Summer camp in 2014, Josh brought him on staff to develop the program and run operations. He has worked recruiting and directing mentors, planning activities, and running the day to day of AMP. Currently Cameron is helping with program development while serving on the board of directors. He and his wife Ali are raising their two children in Los Angeles. 


Daniel Andalon has dedicated his career to government and community affairs. Working in all levels of government in different capacities, including working with some of most prominent elected leaders in the City of Los Angeles, including Mayor Villariagosa and City Councilmembers Huizar and Reyes, where he focused his efforts in representing, organizing, and addressing policy issues for each of those offices respectively. He has taken on initiatives that include healthcare advocacy and education issues, labor organizing, environment and education, among other social issues that impact quality of life for the residents of Los Angeles County. 

Jefferson Henson

Jefferson is a filmmaker who lives in South Los Angeles. With a broad background in all types of production, Jefferson along with his business partner, Dathan Graham, started Signpost Films in early 2016. Jefferson has worked in both the commercial and non-profit worlds with clients including Red Bull, Discovery Studios, Truck Accessories Group, Union Rescue Mission and many others. His love for the city drives him to pastor at Cornerstone South LA and run LoveLA, a summer camp program for 100 inner city kids. Jefferson and his wife Shannon have been foster parents since 2009 and have adopted 4 beautiful children out of that system. Their extensive training and experience continue to spur them on to mentor other foster parents and advocate for children in the foster system.

Joanna cruz

Joanna and her husband Robert adopted two kids from the L.A. foster system. They love kids and Joanna is around them 24/7. As a school manager for LAUSD she has immense experience in working with the youth in this area. She is competent in administration, conflict resolution, and parent/child relations.


Alessandro has always loved film.

In 2000, Gentile received his Bachelors Degree in Film Studies from the U.C. Santa Barbara. Gentile then choose to polish his cinematography skills at the University of California at Los Angeles where he spent two years concentrating on lighting, composition, camera movement, and HD video capture. Post graduation, Gentile has shot numerous Independent and commercial film productions in the States and abroad. Clients include Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Nike, Fujikura Golf, City of Huntington Beach, PopTV, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, Destination America, and MYX TV.
